It’s no secret I love flannels. I’m always on the hunt for “perfect” flannels because they’re just so easy to wear. I shared this flannel in a blog post about a month ago & I thought I would show you my favorite way to style it. This emerald & black checked flannel is incredibly soft & it’s currently 50% off! I’m tempted to order it in this color as well, because it is so soft & comfortable. This babydoll style also works really well with leggings. I wore my Vince Camuto Booties which I bought last fall. (Wondering what socks to wear with low cut shoes? These are my go-to! They don’t slip & they stay put without showing!) These camel suede booties are definitely my favorite because they go with everything & are so versatile. I especially like to pair them with black to really make everything “pop”. They’re currently on sale & usually sell out every season because they are so popular. This style bootie is so classic (every year they release a similar style) & one I recommend everyone have in their closet-especially if you’re trying to adopt a capsule wardrobe! Speaking of capsule wardrobes, no capsule collection is complete without a pair of black skinny jeans. I like mine high waisted & super stretchy-so that they feel like leggings! These super stretchy black jeans are under $20! This a nice casual look that’s also very comfortable.
My Arctic Berry Hats have been on heavy rotation since I finished all the samples. I’m wearing my Brown Sugar one here to coordinate with my booties. I’m really digging the look of super chunky hats. I think they look so flattering on everyone. So you’re probably going to see a lot of Arctic Berry content for the foreseeable future-LOL! I knit my samples in colors that coordinate perfectly with with all of my knitwear!
I binge watched Bridgerton (Netflix) & O.M.G. its soooooo good!!!! I am a major sucker for period pieces-give me all the 19th century shows & movies! I love Jane Austin or anything Jane Austin-esque & Bridgerton fits the bill! It’s a combination of Jane Austin meets Gossip Girl. I’m hoping I won’t have to wait too long for the second season, because the ending definitely left me wanting more! So if you need a new show to watch while knitting I highly recommend it! Have you watched Bridgerton yet?
P.S. Be sure to follow me on IG where I will be sharing sneak peeks of a new shawl I am test knitting!
