Skylights

Very rarely do I buy yarn without a project in mind, but that was the case with this yarn. I fell in love with the color and snagged a SQ of it last year while I was at what turned out to be my last knitting event before the pandemic hit. It reminded me of cotton candy and although I didn’t have a project in mind at the time I knew I’d think of something. Fast forward to just a couple weeks ago when Tanis released Skylights. As soon as I saw it I knew this yarn would be perfect! I cast on immediately after Tanis said it only took her 3 days to knit. It took me a bit longer, 5 days to be exact. I love how it turned out! I really love the design with the cables, bobbles, and eyelets. Plus it is beyond cozy and I think we can all agree that right now we need more cozy in our lives!

Pattern Modifications:

Zolpidem Online Order Gauge was off so I CO for size 2 to achieve a size 1. I also decided to cast on and work neckline instead of picking up sts after the fact. Cast on size 9 needle for collar and worked 1×1 rib for 1”

Switched to size 10.5 for body

Knit 58 rows then worked decreases.
