Confluence

I promised a second pattern release this week and I’m ecstatic to share that Confluence is now available for individual pattern purchase! (Confluence was originally published in La Bien Aimee’s second book Neons & Neutrals.) I designed Confluence as a love letter to my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Confluence sweater is a mixed base and marled top-down sweater. Featuring a folded collar, balloon sleeves, and a circular yoke, this sweater is perfect for first time sweater knitters, as well as advanced knitters looking for a relaxing knit. The sweater body and sleeves are knit holding a fingering-weight and fluffy lace-weight yarn held together to create a beautiful marled fabric. The collar, cuffs, and hem are worked holding the yarns independently. The 3 stripes on the sleeve cuff represent the confluence of rivers at Pittsburgh’s point. This is where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers merge to create the Ohio River. Simple and elegant, this design is the perfect vehicle to show off and highlight these special yarns!

You can find Confluence pattern on Ravelry and Payhip.

Hi Caitlyn – I sent you a message via Instagram about your Bright Here Bright Now vest pattern. I have questions about the GSR for the back. I watched your YT video so I understand how to do GSRs. I’m confused by directions on the number of times I do rows 1-4 and then what’s meant by the Final GSR 1 and 2. What’s the best way to communication with you so I can get your help? thanks much – Julie Frinzi

Hi Julie! After seeing this comment I went and checked IG and you were in the spam folder so that’s why I didn’t see your message. LOL not sure why! I’ll respond to you there as I’m sure you check IG more often.
