It’s pattern release day for Wavy Gravy Sweater!!! The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry and Payhip. Wavy Gravy Sweater pattern details can be found on the Ravelry and Payhip pattern listing. This design was inspired by my trip to Bethel Woods aka the site of the original Woodstock, this sweater will have you feeling groovy in no time! Knit bottom up and in the round in The Lamb & Kid Tod, this raglan sweater features a bold graphic chevron stripe pattern. I chose a far out 60s-inspired color palette, but any combo of at least 2 colors will work! It is also a really exciting stash buster! Peace, love, and knitting! Sample shown in The Lamb & Kid Tod in Chili (C1), Lilac (C2), Anorak (C3), Pop Rocks (C4), and Betty (C5) and worn with 6” of positive ease.

The test knitters for Wavy Gravy Sweater came up with some amazing color combos! Please be sure to check out their Ravelry project pages as well as watch my Instagram where I will be sharing all of their beautiful sweaters. When choosing color combos for your Wavy Gravy Sweater the test knitters found it helpful to know that you cast on the body with C1 and the sleeves with C4. Keep this in mind as you play around with your color order. Another helpful hint worth noting is the Wavy Gravy Sweater pattern comes with checklist charts for the sleeves and raglan. (A separate pdf is included with the pattern purchase that contains enlarged version of these checklist charts.) The checklist charts come colored in with my specific color combo as well as blank ones. If planning to knit your sweater in the color combo I’ve chosen, just use the charts that are already colored in. The blank versions are especially helpful if you plan to use less than 5 colors or turn this sweater into a stash buster. You can print out these blank charts and color them in with your specific colors so that you know exactly which color to cast on with for the body and sleeves! They’re to be used like your own personal coloring book so that you can plan out your design!

Wavy Gravy Sweater is available in 8 sizes with a finished bust measurement range of 36″-66″. You can find more information about sizing, yardage requirements, and more on the Ravelry and Payhip pattern pages.

The Lamb & Kid will be having a Dyed to order (DTO) event featuring Tod this Sunday at 8pm EST. You will be able to purchase individual hand dyed skeins of Tod for your Wavy Gravy Sweaters at that time. They will also be selling sweater kits featuring my specific colors of Chili, Lilac, Anorak, Pop Rocks (hand dyed), and Betty during the DTO. For more information about this DTO please make sure to check out The Lamb & Kid’s Instagram account for all the details-they have some amazing colors to choose from! Sarah will also be hosting an Instagram live on The Lamb & Kid Instagram account on Friday May 20 at 1pm EST where she will help you put together color combos for your sweater!
